This Saturday, March 18, the funeral of Laura Valenzuela, the first Spanish television presenter, who died at the age of 92 on March 17 at the La Princesa hospital in Madrid after spending a few days in hospital, will be held. “She has gone in peace,” announced Lara Dibildos, her daughter, at the gates of the hospital.

Starting at 9:00 p.m., the burning chapel was opened to say goodbye to Valenzuela. The first to arrive were Dibildos and other family members. Subsequently, familiar and close faces approached to be able to be close to family members in these hard times.

One of the first to arrive at the funeral home was Terelu Campos, in charge of delivering the sad news on television and one of the family’s best friends. The presenter from Malaga could not contain her sadness and she burst into tears when she communicated the news in Sálvame. The relationship between the Campos clan and the Dibildos family is very close, which is why they have been in permanent contact during these weeks.

After the program, the presenter from Malaga was one of the first to appear at the funeral home to say goodbye to the Sevillian. There, she confessed that she had not told her mother, María Teresa Campos, the sad news about her.

Carmen Morales, daughter of Rocío Dúrcal, also wanted to show her support for Lara Dibildos. Subsequently, the journalist Nieves Herrero arrived, who wanted to highlight the importance that Valenzuela had had on Spanish television, being one of the pioneers of the union.

It is expected that throughout today many other friends of the family, known and anonymous, will come to the funeral home to say their last goodbye to the mythical presenter.

However, those who will not be there will be his two grandchildren. As confirmed by Carmen Borrego in Sálvame, Lara Dibildos’s children are outside of Spain and they will not have time to arrive to say goodbye to their grandmother.
