Sitges is a great balcony to the Mediterranean Sea. Literally, as can be seen in these photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

This Garraf population has two profiles, from land to sea and from sea to land. In this second, the silhouette of the church of San Bartolomé and Santa Tecla stands out, dating from the 17th century and standing on a small hill near the Sitges beach, giving it a very beautiful asymmetrical shape.

For its part, one of the best points to observe Sitges from land to sea is from the San Sebastián viewpoint, one of the best known on the beach, from which you can enjoy views of the Garraf coast.

Sitges has a great tourist infrastructure, with facilities and three marinas (Port Ginesta, Garraf and Aiguadolç). In fact, it is one of the towns with the most marinas in Spain and Port Ginesta is one of the largest in Europe.

In addition, travel magazines, such as the New York Times Style Magazine, tend to highlight Sitges among the best urban beaches in Europe.
