Isabel Pantoja is radiant and full. The tonadillera is about to reach a milestone: 50 years of success in the world of music. For this reason, and after four years of silence, the singer has decided to grant an interview to the magazine Hello! in which she takes stock of her life as she celebrates her musical golden anniversary, which also comes with an unexpected surprise: an invitation to the Rose Ball in Monaco.

An interview in which Isabel talks about everything that has meant getting to where she is, and in which she appreciates the “guilt” that her father, her mother and her brother Agustín have had for all this… But that once Plus, he seems to forget his two children, Kiko Rivera and Isa Pantoja, along the way. What’s more, the singer goes so far as to affirm at one point in the interview that if she could give advice to her 20-year-old self, it would be to do the same thing that she has done and not regret anything, because if she has done it, it is because he was on his way.

With an impressive cover and internal photos showing a very recovered Isabel and not at all with the sad appearance that had been rumored to have been in recent weeks, the tonadillera confesses about how important her mother has been in her life and how she is experiencing the mourning process both for her and for her brother Bernardo, who recently passed away.

“All her life she has been accompanying her daughter because I wanted it that way”, emphasizes the artist, “It is the most wonderful thing that could have happened to me, and I feel very lucky because I have been with her all my life. I miss her every second”. The same with his brother Bernardo, but he has had to resign himself, because it is due to his public: “I have had a very bad time, I continue to have a very bad time, although there is no other way to go,” he insists, “although the public has come to see you , and knows how you are.”

A mourning that would have even led him to regret his withdrawal, but he considers himself a “phoenix” and cannot leave his audience. “The day I say I’m leaving is to never come back,” he warns.

During the interview, the tonadillera wants to be close, making it clear that it is the attitude that she has always had towards her followers and to all those who really know her.

“A lot of people know me. A lot, more than you think, know Maribel,” he insists, assuring that “Maribel” is “normal” and a “good housewife.” A Maribel who does not like that “hers” touch, because “it is not necessary”: “I am here because I am an artist. I have never spoken of anyone nor am I going to, ever”.

The artist even dares to give advice to the 20 or 25-year-old Maribel: “Do the same thing you’ve done, don’t regret anything. You’re welcome. Because if you did it, it’s because it was on your way.” The singer also adds that she, “unfortunately”, she believes in destiny.

Four years have passed for Isabel Pantoja to occupy the pages of a magazine again, and she looks good, at the moment in which she has to be.

“I see an Isabel that with the age that I am, well I keep well. I take care of myself, nothing more,” he says, “I have always been happy. Always singing, because my audience and the people who have surrounded me have made me happy , that they have been with me, that they are with me and that they love me. With the people who love me, I am happy”.
