The mayor of Berga, Ivan Sánchez, has confirmed that he will lead the CUP list in the municipal elections on May 28. “Our objective is to continue developing a transforming project in the city. We have the team, the desire and the experience to do it”, highlighted the mayor.
The previous elections were won by Montse Venturós, who was mayor for six years and who left office in July 2021 due to depression. Currently, Sánchez’s government team is made up of eight councilors from the CUP and two from the ERC.
