Unflattering things had been said about Sean Diddy Combs, a pioneering hip hop artist and one of the music moguls in the United States, because of his behavior with women. From now on they can also be seen.

Surveillance video at a hotel, obtained by CNN, allegedly shows Combs, 54, violently attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, in a hotel hallway, next to the elevator, and in a room. She had already detailed that assault in a complaint filed in 2023, later closed by an out-of-court settlement, in which she alleged that the rapper physically and sexually abused him for years.

The video shows several angles of that outburst, when Cassie seems to be trying to leave the hotel and he bursts onto the scene carrying only a towel, as if he had just gotten out of the shower. He walks behind the woman, who is carrying a bag. He picks her up, pushes her and once on the ground, that man, identified by CNN as Combs, hits her a couple of times, while the woman is curled up.

When the attacker is off camera, the woman takes out a phone, but the next frame of the video shows him running and pushing her, although she is no longer in the camera lens. Moments later, Combs, sitting in a chair, grabs an object and throws it toward her. The recording has no audio.

Cassie, 37, whose name is Casandra Ventura, already reflected in her complaint last November that Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or Diddy, attacked her with punches, kicks or trampling on her in the literal sense throughout their romantic relationship. . The day after filing that complaint in court, her lawyers reached an agreement.

Combs had previously denied the allegations, calling them disgusting. But that is precisely what is seen in the video. After the agreement with Cassie, one of the businessman’s lawyers stressed that this agreement “was in no way an admission of anything incorrect.”

Following Cassie’s accusation, Combs has been the center of a series of complaints by other women for alleged physical and sexual abuse, gang rapes and serious illegal activities. All of this has led to him being investigated by federal agents, who in March searched several of her properties in California, New York and Florida.
