Since former soccer player Miguel Torres came into the media spotlight for his romance with Paula Echevarría, the athlete has become one of the favorite faces for brands, thanks to his attractive physique. After a life playing football, the former Málaga player moved to television, participating in programs such as El Chiringuito or Dancing with the Stars, a profession that he combines with his advertising projects.

The athlete really likes to take care of himself, as does his partner, but now it comes to light that the former player suffers from a chronic skin condition that he has to pay attention to daily: rosacea.

This has been confirmed by the Tacha Beauty beauty center, where Paula Echevarría’s partner is a regular, through its official Instagram profile. Miguel Torres himself has been honest about the disorder he suffers from, confessing that he has been having problems with rosacea and spots for “years”, for which he has “been trying everything.”

The former footballer shows that he has always been concerned about trying to combat this condition so that it is seen as little as possible. However, the athlete assures that he has finally found a treatment that works for him in this Madrid center. “I’ve only been red-faced for a couple of days,” he reveals.

The treatment in question is Rosacea Revolution, which Torres describes as “fast” and “effective.” A treatment that seems to have put an end to this condition, changing his “skin completely.”

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that reacts disproportionately to external agents. This disorder causes, among other things, redness and rash on the skin, usually on the face. This disease can also cause the appearance of pustules, papules that resemble youthful acne, and even the dilation of blood vessels. Among the most annoying symptoms, thickening of the skin, intense burning and itching.

The exact causes of rosacea are not known, although it seems that alterations in the vascular structure and connective tissue intervene in its development. In the long term, the condition worsens and becomes much more visible to the naked eye.

There are different degrees within this pathology, and it is worth knowing that this condition has no cure. However, there are treatments to control each outbreak. In the case of each patient, a preventive treatment or a cosmetic treatment will be chosen, which prioritizes the improvement of the vascular network.
