The field of mobile homes continues to gain followers for reasons such as the freedom it offers its occupants when making getaways. Among the many options that exist, caravans are among the most appropriate for users who prefer to always use the same car both for their daily trips and for vacations or weekends.

Those who do not give up a high level of comfort, quality materials and sophisticated design will surely appreciate the proposal featured in this article. The first thing to keep in mind is that it was born as a result of the collaboration between the prestigious caravan firm Airstream and the high-end sports car brand Porsche.

For its part, Airstream is known for its vehicles finished with a polished aluminum exterior, which gives them their own personality and a truly elegant appearance. When developing this caravan, a special lightness was sought, a characteristic that has been achieved with the help of the design specialists at Studio F.A. Porsche (product design studio with half a century of history founded by the car brand).

The reason why low weight and, also, a small size were two of the premises that were established to create this house on wheels, is that it is designed so that it can be easily towed by a compact SUV or by a car electric. The result is a luxury caravan capable of meeting the expectations of even the most demanding travelers.

Modernity is appreciated from the first glance, with an attractive “look”, with clean and rounded lines that achieve an air of distinction and innovation. A set of windows wraps around the front of the vehicle, ensuring great levels of interior light. From the back, it is striking that it is flat instead of rounded (the latter is the usual shape in Airstream creations).

This choice has not only been made to improve aerodynamic performance but also for the installation of a platform that can be opened from the inside and outside, allowing the interior surface to be expanded with multiple uses. Another remarkable feature is integrated by the presence of the pop-up roof with integrated extendable awning.

The size of 4.88 m long with all its doors closed means that the caravan can be stored parked in a conventional garage space and does not need large specific spaces for it. The interior is as striking as the exterior and looks more like a fancy hotel room than a mobile home. It has a full kitchen with a two-burner hob as well as a sink.

Despite its small size, it also offers a bathroom and a living-dining room that can be converted into a bedroom. And we must not overlook the presence of air conditioning, water tanks and battery to operate electrical devices. It should be noted that, for now, we are dealing with a concept and it is unknown, for the moment, if this luxurious and compact caravan will ever be manufactured.
