Isabel Díaz Ayuso has advocated this morning in Valencia for the Valencian Community and Madrid “to once again be an axis of prosperity for Spain”. The president of Madrid added that when this “axis of prosperity” existed, promoted by José María Aznar in 2004 and whose main actors were Francisco Camps and Esperanza Aguirre, “this autonomy was looked at for its international events and we had joint projects, now they only look at him badly”. Jaume Matas, former president of the Balearic Islands, was also part of that “axis of prosperity”.
The Madrid leader has participated in a pre-campaign rally of the Valencian PP to support the candidate for the Valencian Generalitat, Carlos Mazón and the candidate for the Valencia City Council, María José Català. In this act, she has used her time to, once again, charge against the policies of the Spanish Government and, especially, against its president Pedro Sánchez. “There is not an institution in Spain that is not eaten away by sanchismo” stated the president, who she has given as examples “from the Prosecutor’s Office to the CNI, to the CIS, and so on. That public television doesn’t say what I want, well, it changes.” And she added that “Spain can’t put up with this government anymore, real Spain doesn’t want more.”
Carlos Mazón has announced for his part that he will lower “all taxes for everyone, without exception, without a war between the rich and the poor, because my enemy is poverty. We will lower personal income tax for everyone because we do not want them to go to another side. We will lower the housing tax. The inheritance tax, the death tax, is over forever. And the gift tax will also be eliminated.”
The president of the Valencian PP has brought up the judicial cases that affect the PSPV. And he has gone so far as to say that “Ximo Puig has given his brother a million euros” in reference to the brother of the president, Francis Puig, investigated for irregularities in the collection of public subsidies.
María José Catalá defended that the 28M elections “Yes, they are a plebiscite against Sánchez”. She defended that “there is no better way to start removing Sanchez than not voting for socialism, nationalism or communism in these regional and local elections”. And he added that “the vote for the PP is the only valid one to get Sánchez and Puig out of the government.”
