The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has set deadlines this Tuesday, taking advantage of a conference by the vice mayor and socialist candidate for Mayor of Valencia, Sandra Gómez, on the new FGV projects for the cap i casal. The head of the Consell has indicated the intention of his Government to strengthen the three interventions planned for the coming years: extending the L10 to La Marina and La Malva-rosa; build the new tram line L11, which will connect the center with Marítim-El Grau; and build the L12, which will link the center with Malilla and Hospital La Fe.

Puig has advanced that the layouts of these lines will be released to public information “within a few days”. The President of the Generalitat has pointed out that the construction projects will be in place in the summer “and the specifications will be drawn up to bid for works in the second semester.”

It has not been the only announcement in terms of transport that has been given at a conference organized by the Forum Tribuna Mediterránea. In his intervention in an auditorium full of socialist positions, Gómez has advanced his proposal to structure a future tram line that would link from the new Faith to Nou Moles, passing through Vara de Quart.

Gómez has also expressed his intention to turn the EMT into a true metropolitan company that not only provides service to the entire metropolitan environment but also does not have the capacity to add transport services and new forms of mobility. “It is not only the ideal way to provide the best public service, but also the most efficient way to make our EMT economically sustainable.”
