The film tells the story of Lola, a young woman who loses the babies she was expecting, which makes her lose her faith in God. To try to reconnect with her religious side, the woman goes with her husband to a nunnery where they meet Tin and Tina, two seven-year-old brothers to whom Lola feels strongly attracted. Although Adolfo, her husband, does not feel the same way, the couple decides to adopt the little ones. As the days go by, the couple becomes obsessed with the children and they begin to suspect that something is wrong due to the religious games they play.
