After the visit to Omar Montes, El Hormiguero received a new visit from Ana Mena to the set on the occasion of the release of her album Bellodrama. This new work by the malagueña came out last Friday, March 24, and it was a long-awaited night for her fans, but everything turned into disappointment.

The artist is already a classic in the Trancas y Barrancas space since she became a star in Spain and Italy thanks to songs like A un paso de la luna, Se iluminaba or Música ligera. Focused on her musical facet, many will remember her for her role in the Marisol miniseries, in My Camp Rock or in Canal Sur spaces.

In the first minutes there was a detail that caught the attention of all the spectators when they saw a piano in one of the corners of the set. At that time, the followers of the guest rubbed their hands imagining that there would be a live performance with a pianist of one of the songs from her album.

While that moment arrived, the artist gave details about her album, which she explained that it contains songs with which to enjoy breakup moments. Motos was in charge of comparing it with the moment “when you get a pimple”, a phrase that Ana assured was perfect.

There was also time to talk about the fact that one of the songs on this album is dedicated to a boy she fell in love with, something she confirmed. “I went to a party in Italy with a friend and there was a guy who was sort of withdrawn and sad. Well, I noticed him, but his friends told me he had a girlfriend, and I respect that a lot and I didn’t do anything.”

“After a few months, my friend told me that she had left him with her partner, so I started to compose a song for him. But between retouching and recording it took several months”, something that turned against him. “When I went to send it to him, they told me that he was already with another girl, so I didn’t send it to him and I didn’t see him anymore”, a real disappointment.

Once the interview was over, with Trancas y Barrancas games included, all the fans of the artist waited for the most anticipated moment to arrive, but they were soon enormously disappointed. Pablo gave way to a performance, but it was that of a 16-year-old dancer who has succeeded.

Millán de Benito entered the set, demonstrating his enormous talent dancing ballet, and he did so with the help of a pianist who put music to a magical moment. Although no one can deny the enormous talent of this young man from Logroño, who has recently won an international award, many expected a performance from the singer.

As expected, Ana Mena’s fans used social networks to show their disappointment and cry out to heaven for what happened. Although at no time was a guest performance announced, everything suggested that she could perform to present her new songs to millions of people.
