Casa Seat will host this Wednesday, March 29, at 7:00 p.m., a meeting between the journalist Jordi Basté and the newspaper’s subscribers. This is an exclusive event for La Vanguardia subscribers that can be followed live on this website.
At the event, which will be moderated by Enric Sierra, the deputy director of the medium, subscribers will be able to chat with the RAC1 presenter on any current issue.
This talk is included in the cycle of events organized by La Vanguardia with the aim of bringing journalism closer to the newspaper’s subscribers.
Jordi Basté has a long career in the media. He is currently the director and presenter of the radio program El món a RAC1 and a collaborator of La Vanguardia on Sundays and Mondays.
The journalist began his career at Catalunya Ràdio, collaborating on Joaquim Maria Puyal’s soccer broadcasts. Basté also broadcast basketball matches and hosted programs such as La jornada and No ho diguis a nigo.
In 2004 he joined the RAC1 radio station presenting Tu diràs until 2007, when he became the director and presenter of the magazine El món a RAC1, the most listened to program in all of Catalonia.
On the other hand, Jordi Basté has also been the editor of programs such as Basketballmania, co-director and presenter of Gol a gol as well as presenter of No pot ser y Nexes.
He has also published different books such as L’esport dels matins de Catalunya Ràdio or El Barça del canio.
A long professional career that has allowed him to be recognized with different awards, among which stand out three Ondas, a Protagonistas, a Communication Omnium, the King of Spain Award for Journalism, the National Radio Award 2010 and four Radio Association awards.
