Ana Obregón has become a mother for the second time at the age of 68. The actress welcomed a girl on March 20 in Miami (USA), and whose birth has been possible thanks to the surrogacy process, as reported by the magazine Hello! this Wednesday.
A birth that has returned the illusion and desire to live to the actress after some very dark and dramatic years after the death of her son Aless, who died at the age of 27 due to cancer; and that of her parents, Antonio and Ana, just months apart.
The aforementioned publication shared the first images of the newly released mother and her baby leaving the hospital in Miami, and the reactions were not long in coming.
The actress appears dressed entirely in white, with a jacket and jeans, while carrying the little girl in her arms, covered with a thin white blanket with a matching pink shawl. However, both came out in a wheelchair, as if it were a woman who has just given birth. Opinions on Ana Obregón’s decision to become a mother again are for all tastes, but her departure from the clinic has generated a heated debate.
Some people come to compare the exit and the process that the actress has lived with the famous novel The Handmaid’s Tale, by Margaret Atwood. In the novel, brought to the screen by HBO, she highlights the emotional perception of those women who see their dignity trampled upon by “giving up their body as an object” and how as “good pregnant women” they are invisible, ceasing to be a subject to be a object at the service of the desires of others.
A debate that also moved to the ideal of Ana Obregón as a mother for the second time, after everything that has happened during all these years. Many users were concerned about the actress’s state of health, especially after these dramatic years that she has lived through, and her ability to care for another human being right now.
However, the actress is already in Spain after completing the procedures to register the little girl and obtain the necessary documentation, enjoying these first days with her little girl, whom she has named Ana.
