The Andalusian doctors, through the last call of the Andalusian Medical Union (SMA), meet again this morning before the Central Services of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) to demand that the Administration take “urgent measures that include greater investment , the effective reform of Primary Care, the improvement of working conditions and the recovery of the leading role of the physician who seem to be underestimated”.

From the union they point out that this new concentration occurs because “the situation in Primary Care continues unresolved” and “the pending issues at the negotiating table are accumulating without effective solutions.”

In addition, they warn that primary care professionals “continue to charge a specific supplement well below their training, responsibility and hardship.” “They charge less for this concept than other lower categories and than hospital physicians,” they point out from the SMA.

Another aspect that has been dealt with in the concentration is that of “the situation of abandonment of the Primary Care Emergency Services (SUAP) and the support devices”, which “is maintained and there are no proposals for improvement”, as they explain. from the medical union.

In this line, the SMA has highlighted other issues that affect the situation of health professionals in Andalusia, such as the non-existent transparency “in the calculations of the Professional Performance Complement (CRP)”, the fact of continuing without “an update of Difficult to Cover Positions”, the stagnation of the statutory process and the “obvious salary inequality with the rest of the autonomous communities”.

Finally, the union organization recalls that the next mobilization will be the next “National Day of Primary Care” which is celebrated on April 12, when Andalusian doctors have planned a day of strike and a demonstration that will start from the San Telmo Palace to finish at the SAS headquarters.
