Jessica Goicoechea has given what may have been the toughest interview of her life. The model sat down with the content creator Luc Loren in No Estamos Locas to talk about one of the most dramatic episodes she has had to suffer, as she was the victim of violence and mistreatment at the hands of one of her partners, the model River Viiperi. .

Three years of silence that the Catalan decided to break to talk about those moments that she will never forget, and that came to an end when she was finally arrested after one of her attacks.

A relationship of which the model does not keep any beautiful memories. “It’s not easy for me to talk about these issues, but whenever I can talk about these issues,” she began, somewhat nervous. However, she clearly explained how she lived through those dramatic moments.

“I am not a spiteful person, I quickly forget about the pain that they may have caused me, I think it is a self-defense mechanism; but no matter how hard I try, I don’t remember something nice”, he lamented, “Bad moments have so much weight that there’s no way to think of something positive.” The model assures that there was much more before that last attack, pointing out that the psychological abuse was “much worse”.

“I suffered physical violence, but the one that left the most mark on me was psychological. I spent two and a half years with someone playing with my mind. He killed me,” she confesses, also revealing that she was also the one who supported her ex-partner financially.

A case of gender violence that happened almost without realizing it. “It started with little things, that you let go. Then they keep pulling you away from your loved ones, starting with your friends and then your relatives,” he explains, “I did it to create dependency. I realized it, but still being aware that it wasn’t normal , I was completely nullified as a person.”

The model confesses that she tried to leave the relationship on numerous occasions, but her partner’s psychological manipulation made her continue with that relationship. “I tried a thousand times, but I felt like a bad person if I gave it up.”

The model insists that, if it had been up to her, no one would have found out anything about what happened. “It was the police themselves that came to my home, because the press has an agreement with them when it comes to such strong cases involving public figures,” he explains, confessing that a large part of his family and friends had no idea of ??everything. What was happening.

According to the Catalan, their relationship became a hell from which she could hardly get out. What’s more, she explains that the worse things were between them, the more idyllic their relationship seemed on social networks.

“He loved being the center of attention,” insists the model, who reveals that the ego in their relationship even conditioned their professional commitments, both dedicating themselves to the world of fashion.

“I suffered a lot in public,” he says, adding that things got much worse when they had to go to events and there was alcohol involved. “She’d come home and pass out,” she confesses. The doctors explained to her later that the cause was found in the great tension that she suffered in their relationship.

Luckily for the model, the moment came when she said “enough” definitively.

“I said ‘enough’ a thousand million times, but none of it was useless. It really ended when the thing came to hand, obviously. It was something I did not expect. I had experienced a violent episode, but not to that point,” he confesses, revealing In addition, he did not consider denouncing until that moment.

“It is clear that I should have reported, but my only concern was that he was okay, what could happen to him. It took me a week or two to report, because I needed to assimilate everything.”

The model remembers when Viiperi left the cell and made a statement declaring that everything related to the incident was a lie. It was at that moment that she stopped feeling sorry and completely ended the relationship.

“Thank God that I had a video and I was able to prove that everything was real,” thanks the Catalan.

The model has left that nightmare behind, and since last summer she has been happy with Marc Bartra, with whom she decided to pose for the first time just a few weeks ago, sharing some images on her social networks.

The Catalan, who currently resides in Turkey after signing for Trabzonspor, thus rebuilds his life after his break with the sports journalist Melissa Jiménez, whom he divorced at the beginning of 2022 after eight years of relationship and three children in common (Gala, April and Max).
