A little over a month ago, taking advantage of Valentine’s Day, the journalist and presenter of Las 3 Puertas, María Casado, announced that one of her dreams was going to come true: she was pregnant and would have her first child with her partner, the artist Martina diRosso.
A short time later, a very emotional María gave more details about the baby that was growing inside her: she is a girl and will be named Daniela. The couple could not be happier with the pregnancy, since they had always wanted to become mothers.
After a few weeks with a low profile and without giving many clues about her condition, the presenter spoke to reporters at the Concha García Campoy Scientific Journalism Awards ceremony and told how everything is going: “I am very happy. I’m having a good pregnancy, no problem, no nausea or anything… So I can’t complain.” The only symptom that seems to be due to the pregnancy is fatigue: “I almost want to sleep all day, but trying to work as much as I can and I have the immense luck of managing it well from Malaga, so I’m happy”.
She has also shared how they are going through the process until their little girl is born next September: ”We are another type of family, in this case two moms and Martina is enjoying and watching her belly grow, like me sharing from minute one… She is a sought after, desired, loved and true girl, looking forward to when the day comes to do an echo to see how she is, how she grows”. In addition, the presenter has declared that she knows perfectly well that many sleepless nights and many worries lie ahead of her, but that the great joy of having her girl will make up for everything.
The presenter has also been wet about the recent maternity of actress Ana Obregón by surrogate pregnancy, making it clear that she would really like to know the reason why the artist has decided to be a mother at 68 years of age: “I want to listen to her to her because I think it was a thoughtful decision”.
