The visual challenge that I propose to you today in El Reto de los Lectores de La Vanguardia seems easy, even very easy, but you still discover that it is not so easy.
The game is next. You have to find the moon in the sky. Too simple? Are you sure you will be able to locate it? I say this because, as can be seen in these photographs taken in the town of Altet, in Urgell, the clouds can make it more difficult for us.
Let’s start with the least easy image, so to speak. Are you able to see where the moon is in this snapshot?
Have you found it? No?… Well, now I’m going to show you the second photograph, which is much easier than the first. The same, where is the moon?
I give you a clue. It is the crescent moon, which receives this name because the illuminated portion is increasing with the passing of the days. I show you a detail photograph below.
Now that you have been able to locate the moon in the two photographs of this Visual Challenge? Not yet?… In any case, I am going to show you the two images again, but this time I have marked the exact place where the moon appears. It’s the solution.
