The National Police have arrested four members of the same family who cultivated more than 200 marijuana plants in a hidden hole in a house in El Ejido (AlmerÃa).
The Provincial Police Station of AlmerÃa has reported in a note that the ‘Flute’ operation has been carried out thanks to a “meticulous investigation”, which has allowed the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 4 of El Ejido to authorize the search of the address of those arrested.
After a first sweep, the investigators failed to detect the drug, and they had to use “all the technical means at their disposal” to find, behind a closet, access to the underground cellar where the marijuana crop was hidden, with a attached for drying.
In addition to seizing more than 200 plants ready for export, the agents seized a katana and various instruments for cannabis production.
The detainees have been brought to justice for a crime against public health and another for fraud of electricity.
