In parallel to the press conferences of the spokespersons of the groups in Congress, notably the popular Miguel Tellado and the socialist Patxi López, who have thrown their weight behind the case of the alleged tax fraud of the couple from the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the two groups maintain a war on social network X, in which they accuse each other of corruption in a more relaxed way.

To a thread of messages from the PSOE in which the socialists ask for Ayuso’s resignation in an apparently light way, alluding to the title of a series that could eventually star the president of Madrid, F·A·M·I·L·I·A ·R·E·S -note the similarity of the design with the cover of the Friends series-, the PP has responded with a single, brief message with the same visual style: P·R·O·S·T·I·T ·U·T·A·S· AND C·O·C·A·I·N·A.

The response of the PP of Madrid on the social network In the latter case, the summary shows parties in brothels with alcohol and drugs by some of those involved. In the Koldo case, the former advisor of former Minister José Luis Ábalos, Koldo García, was a brothel doorman.

In its more elaborate thread, the PSOE speculates about “if the corruption plots surrounding Ayuso were a television series (because it goes a long way) these would be some of the chapters of ‘F·A·M·I·L· I·A·R·E·S'” and proposes titles of various possible chapters such as The Two Faces of Ayuso, in which he denounces a double standard of measuring the president’s corruption; or Ayuso’s culture of effort, in which she questions the president’s statements; or the lie and Ayuso, which shows the president’s first appearance to defend her boyfriend, among others.

The PP’s message is reminiscent of the one that provoked the anger of the Government two weeks ago in which the main opposition party mixed the controversy over the closing hours of restaurants opened by the second vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, with the Koldo case, and in which he accused the socialists of being corrupt and of going to brothels.

The PP message published shortly after 1 a.m. on March 5 began like this: “Message for the corrupt PSOE: it is 1 a.m..” “Yolanda Díaz says that it is time to leave the seafood restaurants,” the PP continued, alluding to the controversy that the second vice president opened by considering that it was not “reasonable” for there to be restaurants open at one in the morning, a difference with the rest of Europe that he called “madness.” “You can now go in an orderly manner to your trusted brothels,” the message continued. “Remember to greet the goalkeeper,” added the tweet in reference to the former advisor of former minister José Luis Ábalos, Koldo García. “Who knows: maybe he will become a director of Renfe,” he concluded.

“It seemed to me to be an absolutely indecent and extremely base message,” said the Minister of Education and Government spokesperson, Pilar Alegría, when asked about that tweet, which she attributed to the PP’s need to “generate artificial noise.”
