The Ter River flows down with a lot of water and becomes a refuge for animals. In these photographs in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can see the cormorants drying their wings after fishing, and we see how, with the warmth, even the horses are already bathing. In the surrounding fields, the greenery of spring is already showing.
I captured these snapshots while doing the Vora Ter trail. This route starts in Torelló and extends for 20 kilometers accompanying the river through small towns to the town of Manlleu.
Camí Vora Ter emerged in 2002 with the aim of skirting the course of the Ter River from its source in the eastern Pyrenees to its mouth in the Mediterranean.
The starting point of the Camí Vora Ter section begins in La Farga de Bebié, which was a textile colony referring to the industrial evolution of Catalonia.
Following the path the river passes by the Castle of Montesquiu, on the left of the path you will find virgin and interesting landscapes with the natural area of ??the Milany-Bellmunt mountain range.
Following the path you reach the Sant Quirze de Besora train station until you cross the bridge over the Foradada torrent. Once you reach this point, you reach the Sierras de Bellmunt and continue along the course of the river until you descend towards the Plana de Vic.
