Time heals everything, but it is not enough to erase the pain of losing a sister. Norma Duval, one of the best-known vedettes in Spain, has experienced a moment of intense emotion when watching a video of her deceased sister Carla de ella, during The Road to Home at the Calderón Theater, an emblematic place for the career of she.

This video, presented by Albert Espinosa, has shown memories of the childhood that both shared, which has made the artist cry and remember the important bond that united them. “Carla had to be there in some way,” Espinosa commented before giving way to the images.

The occasion has allowed Duval, under the delicate guidance of the writer, to open a portal to his past through a fragment of an interview with Carla. In it, her younger sister evoked with tenderness and humor the days of their childhood together, days full of pranks, games and shared dreams.

Thus, Carla remembered how, in the absence of her parents, Norma became the protagonist of her childhood games, assuming all kinds of roles and putting on costumes that marked the beginning of what would be a life dedicated to the world of entertainment. “When my parents arrived, I was still wearing lipstick,” Carla recalled with a smile before revealing that her parents, seeing them wearing makeup at such a young age, got angry.

Through tears, Duval wanted to speak openly about Carla’s death and what it is still difficult for him to accept that she is no longer here: “How beautiful she is and how much I miss her. She was more like a daughter than a sister and it is a wound that “It never heals… I don’t accept it. She shouldn’t have left so soon, especially since it wasn’t her turn.”

Albi, the older brother, also wanted to add to Carla’s memory. The two brothers have assured that her little sister was an extraordinary person. “She was such a good person… and sweet,” recalled Albi, who has guaranteed that “she is always present” and is sure that she “envelops us.”

The star also said that her sister Carla was right, because she always told her that she was very lucky in everything she did: “Except for my sister’s death, which is the only frustrating thing because I couldn’t help it, everything turned out for me.” good”.

Carla Duval died in 2010 after a brave fight against uterine cancer that lasted three years, an illness during which Norma accompanied her closely, putting aside her career to be with her.

Despite the pain and difficulty of those moments, the star said in Ten Moments on Telemadrid that she has beautiful memories of that year because Carla assured her that, thanks to her, she had lived “the best year of her life.”
