Finding love within the four walls of the most famous restaurant on the small screen, First Dates, is not easy at all. And if not tell it to the diners who come to the Cuatro program every night with the hope of meeting someone interesting. During Tuesday’s installment, viewers were able to enjoy different dates between single men and women with a multitude of outcomes.

Eddie, a 22-year-old Peruvian single, arrived at the restaurant confessing to being a big fan of Isabel Pantoja. However, the most striking thing about the bachelor was that he had been on the verge of being a priest. ”Until two years ago I wanted to be a priest and then I realized I wasn’t. “They kicked me out for being gay,” he said. He had never had an official partner, so he wanted to find a boy with whom he could share his passion for history, travel and plays.

Her date was going to be Adrián, a 22-year-old bachelor from Madrid, who presumed sincerity as soon as he arrived. ”I have told many boys that I am a virgin and I am not ashamed of that, you will see if you want to be with me later,” he declared. Although both came in ready to give their all on their respective dates, the single couple was most disappointed when they met. ”I didn’t like it at all. I saw him walk through the door and I said “this guy is not for me,” Eddie said.

The Madrid native had a very similar feeling. ”It doesn’t wake me up at all, he’s just an ordinary boy. “It’s not what I’m looking for physically,” he asserted. After exchanging their first words, Laura Boado accompanied the couple to her table, where they began the evening with great differences. Eddie confessed as soon as he began that one of his great passions was religion. ”It doesn’t matter to me,” Adrián declared.

”I am Catholic, I usually go to mass every Sunday, I participate in Holy Week,” Eddie said. ”Religion is not on our side because of our sexual condition, but if he wants to believe, he believes,” Adrián commented. Shortly after, the singles agreed on one point: they had never had a boyfriend. However, the man from Madrid confessed that he was not willing to have an open relationship. Something that didn’t please Eddie at all. ”He is a very insecure person. If he had him as a partner, he would have already been unfaithful to him,’ he said.

At one point during dinner, Eddie was very curious to know if Adrián was interested in the story. ”I don’t like it,” said the bachelor. ”He is uneducated, he lacks culture,” Eddie asserted. ”My friends would think that he is a geek, that he doesn’t fit my style at all,” said the man from Madrid, who also confessed not knowing anything about folkloric music. ”This guy, let’s go…Spanish culture,” commented Eddie.

In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles were honest and confessed everything they had not liked about each other. An act of sincerity that caused an uncomfortable moment between them. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both decided to go their separate ways.
