In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we can see the common egret displaying its plumage and with the color normally yellow next to the eye, but, on this occasion, it has a bluish-gray color, as we see in the first photograph.

This medium-sized heron is all white except for black legs with yellow toes and a black bill. At breeding time they display two long feathers on the nape.

Undoubtedly, it is a bird of great beauty, which we can observe in spring on the banks of the River Ter, as seen in these images captured in Torelló, Osona region.

In this area there is a viewpoint that is located in Les Masies de Voltregà, while the nests are located on the other side of the river and in the municipality of Torelló.

In the second photograph we see how it carries a branch flying for the nest, above the water of the Ter river.
