Conchita MartÃnez has announced on social networks that she has ceased to be the coach of the Spanish tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza, who has not competed on the women’s circuit since last February.
Conchita, who assumed the responsibility of directing the Venezuelan Hispanic since 2020, uninterrupted until now, and who came to be chosen the best of the year 2021 by the WTA, I wish the best to the player who became number one in the world.
“Garbiñe and I have decided by mutual agreement to end our employment relationship,” the Aragonese announces on social networks. “They have been fantastic years, loaded with great emotions and wonderful experiences, both on and off the track.”
“It has been a real pleasure working with you, Garbiñe. With all my love, I wish you the best,” concludes Conchita MartÃnez’s statement, which was also key in Garbiñe Muguruza’s conquest of the Wimbledon title in 2017.
