In this interval video in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, recorded in the Lleida town of Altet, in the Urgell region, we can hear the birds singing at dawn, a beautiful symphony orchestrated by birds.
We can also observe how the night evolves in images until it transforms again into a new spring day.
The reasons why we can appreciate the song of the birds at dawn are the less noise pollution in that first hour of the day, the low temperature compared to other hours of the day and the calmer wind, which helps in the transmission of sound .
It’s no joke, because sunrise is important for birds. Many species take advantage of this moment (as in the moment of sunset) to show their songs of territoriality.
They also use song to warn their group of possible dangers, to communicate with each other or, in the case of males, to attract females.
