With a tribute to the Savina d’Aratí, the largest specimen of its kind in Catalonia, discovered in the Vall Ferrera, the Cicle d’Arbres Monumentals has been completed, which since 2018 values hiking, art, ecology and local production, with the aim of publicizing the monumental trees of the Parc Natural de l’Alt Pirineu through presentations and artistic interventions.

The last intervention was in the hermitage of Santa María de la Torre, in Alins (Pallars Sobirà). The musician Arnau Obiols, the dancer Anna Rubió and the artist Carola Ortiz have dedicated a performance as a show of gratitude and respect to the Savina d’Aratí, which is part of the Sabina population of Pallars Sobirà, the most numerous and extensive of the sierra and the only one known from the southern Pyrenees.
