A 48-year-old national policeman died this morning in a shooting that took place at 3:30 a.m. at a gas station located at the entrance to the town of Villagonzalo Pedernales, in Burgos, sources from the Civil Guard and the police have informed EFE. National Police.
Sources from the Burgos National Police have confirmed to EFE that the deceased is a national police officer who did not belong to the Burgos police station. Apparently, the man came from Galicia and the reasons why he was involved in a shootout, with at least one other person involved, are unknown, according to Civil Guard sources.
The regional emergency service 1-1-2 has received a call alerting that there was a man injured after the shooting and that he was bleeding profusely. Shortly after, it was confirmed that the victim had died at the scene of the incident.
