A transfer like the one that the fans of FC Barcelona will have to make next season, while the works of the new Spotify Camp Nou are carried out, is always a complex process with decisions that not everyone likes. The blaugrana entity yesterday presented the plan for the season that the team will have to play in Montjuïc with a controversial price increase in season tickets that members have not liked at all.

As the club announced yesterday, the Tribuna card goes from the current 1,286 euros, to cost 1,738; the Goals from 569 to 723; while the most expensive full-back at the Camp Nou will go from costing 815 euros to 1,002. “The prices announced by the FC Barcelona Board are completely abusive based on the average purchasing power of our social mass and counterproductive according to the difficulties of access and visibility already implicit in Montjuïc. We cannot sit idly by”, denounced the association of culés members Seguiment FCB.

The former candidate for the FC Barcelona elections Toni Freixa also joined the criticism, who, in statements to TV3, called for an Assembly to vote on this increase in rates: “A statutory vacuum has been taken advantage of, because obviously the Barça statutes do not contemplate a change of stadium, to stab the subscribers, and I think that the Barça partner should react. Just as the statutes say that the increase in quotas must go through an Assembly, an Assembly would have to be called to submit this vote to the members who have the right to attend the Assembly, not online but in person, because it is a sufficiently important issue ” . “If we don’t have to think about it, it is intended that the member not go and convert the Montjuïc Stadium into Port Aventura and that the member not go,” he concluded.

They were not the only ones. Various partners showed their discomfort with the club through social networks. They regret the increase in the price of season tickets, as well as the high number of seats that have been reserved for sale. A maneuver with which FC Barcelona has managed to control the significant reduction in the club’s income from the 93 million expected, to the 55 that are expected to enter with this new plan thanks to “special VIP packages, the Barça experience that we will sell to tourists and marketing”, as explained yesterday by the club.

There will be 49,472 seats, a considerable reduction in capacity, and more considering that only 27,385 will be for members. The remaining 22,087 will be for sale and club commitments. A very different deal from the one currently carried out in the Blaugrana temple, which has 83,500 seats for its members and only 10,500 for sale (11.22 percent).
