The latest rains have caused the river Ter to rise, as can be seen in these images in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia captured in the surroundings of Torelló, in Osona.

The landscape, green and shiny, has also appreciated the last rains in Catalonia, which was thirsty, as well as the cattle, portrayed here with some surprise.

The Ter river rises in Ulldeter at 2480 meters of altitude, at the foot of a glacial cirque in the Pyrenean region of Ripollès, very close to the town of Setcases.

After a length of just over 200 km, it flows into the Mediterranean Sea downstream of Torroella de Montgrí.

The Vora Ter path starts in Torelló and stretches for 20 kilometers following the river through small towns up to the town of Manlleu.

The itinerary crosses different natural landscapes, agricultural and industrial spaces, where the River Ter plays a key role, especially in certain textile colonies.

This itinerary is classified as a Great Tour in Catalonia (GR 210), although it does not involve great physical performance, if it is more than five hours of travel.
