The water returns to the rivers. The flow of the Ter and its tributaries, such as the Ges, improves its appearance after the last rains, as we can see in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.
The Ges river is a tributary of the Ter that rises in the Sierra de Santa Magdalena, in the Osona region, and flows out after 19 kilometers in a southwesterly direction, after crossing the city of Torelló, where these snapshots have been captured with the force of the water that it now transports after many days of persistent drought.
The importance of this river lies in its valley. The Ges Valley, which has given rise to the Ges, OrÃs and Bisaura Valley Consortium made up of nine municipalities, some of them outside the river basin itself.
A good way to capture the state of health of the River Ter is by walking the Vora Ter path, which has allowed us to capture this other series of photographs of the flood at the height of Roda de Ter.
The Ter river rises in Ulldeter at 2,480 meters of altitude, at the foot of a glacial cirque in the Pyrenean region of Ripollès, very close to the town of Setcases.
The Camà Vora Ter starts in Torelló and stretches for 20 kilometers accompanying the river through small towns up to the town of Manlleu.
Camà Vora Ter arose in 2002 with the aim of skirting the course of the River Ter from its source in the eastern Pyrenees to its mouth in the Mediterranean.
The landscapes through which you pass are of great interest, as is the case of the Montesquiu Castle park, the Bellmunt mountain range and the Sau marsh, with the Collsacabra and the Guilleries on one side and the other.
