First Dates has become the perfect place to try to find love, or at least spend a pleasant evening with someone interesting. For this reason, more and more people are coming to Cuatro’s space with the hope of finding their better half. However, viewers witness totally unexpected outcomes every night.
One of the dates of the night was the one starring Eduardo and Charo. The 58-year-old Basque bachelor arrived at the restaurant confessing to being a religious person. ”If I get married, I would get married in the Church,” he declared. Her profession and his passion were related to art, so he had decided to bring a photographic lithograph as a gift for his date. He wanted to find a woman with “a good image, attractive, friendly and calm.” ”It’s not a Scorpio, they have a lot of character,” he clarified.
His date was going to be Charo, a 57-year-old nurse from Madrid, who was looking forward to finding a respectful, gentlemanly person with physical and intellectual concerns. As soon as she walked through the door of the restaurant, the presenter checked to make sure the single woman was not a Scorpio. ”I’m a Taurus,” she responded to Eduardo’s joy. ”It’s not bad at all, he is tall, he is well dressed and he is not bald. “He has a good personality,” the single woman confessed after meeting Eduardo.
Moments later, Carlos Sobera accompanied the couple to their table, where Eduardo gave his gift to Charo. A detail that left the single woman totally impressed. The evening began with the singles talking about their professions and their favorite hobbies. ”You have to have common hobbies and we both practice skiing, and that’s great for the relationship to work,” he commented.
At one point during the evening, Charo proposed revealing the most striking defects of each one. An idea that fascinated the bachelor. ”I really like his personality, he is very spontaneous and has a lot of initiative,” he declared. Charo said that he was a very absent-minded and scandalous person. For his part, Eduardo joked that he had no flaws, although later he confessed to being somewhat lazy.
However, this moment of sincerity was going to serve to bring out a few aspects that the bachelor was not willing to tolerate. ”I like silent women, I don’t like making scandals in public spaces at all,” he asserted.
In the final stretch of the evening, Eduardo confessed that his priority was not to find love. ”I am one of those who thinks that it is better to be alone than in bad company. I’ll tell you one thing, where there is a good book, let a woman leave it,’ he said. ”It is more beautiful and enriching to share your experiences with someone,” she said. On the topic of children, the bachelor left the single woman speechless with a controversial comment.
”Every woman would like to have a child,” she declared. ”Don’t believe it,” she responded. ”Women exist to have children, it is not a sexist vision,” Eduardo continued. ”I disagree. “I’m super maternal, but what I feel doesn’t have to be felt by all women,” she asserted. But despite her differences, Charo was willing to continue getting to know the bachelor. A vision that Eduardo did not share, who rejected the single woman because she “preferred a woman who wore a crucifix.”
