It is now completely official: Paz Padilla returns to La que se avecina in its 14th season, which is in the middle of the filming phase. The actress and presenter has confirmed her return through social networks, where she has shared some moments of the recording of the series, in which she gives life to the character of La Chusa.

Padilla has been a permanent part of the cast of La que se avecina from 2010 to 2022, being one of the most important absences in season 13 of the production. The team led by Alberto Caballero had to do without her after being fired from Mediaset, so the presenter’s return to the group’s programs has also led to the reappearance of La Chusa in the well-known comedy.

Through her Instagram stories, Paz Padilla has shared with all her followers what it is like to get into the role of her character, for which she has to perform various “voice exercises”, as she has reported. “My speech therapist has taught me, because as La Chusa lowers a tone, she says that I have to protect the strings,” she recounted in her profile. There she later revealed the true trick of her interpretation: “Breathe from the diaphragm and do the ‘s’, the ‘f’, the two cuts and some ‘m’ exercises”, she said, to later put it into practice .

The television company also wanted to share a photograph with Loles León, known mainly for her role as Paloma Cuesta in Aquí no hay quien viva, by the same creators of La que se avecina, and who joined the series in 2016 to play Menchu. “La Chusa attacks and reunion with friends and colleagues,” she wrote on her networks next to the image with the actress.

The series broadcast both on Telecinco and on the Amazon Prime Video platform returns with its fourteenth season, something that brings with it a series of changes compared to previous sessions. The transfer of the residents of the classic Mirador de Montepinar urbanization to number 49 Contubernio street caused a flurry of movements in the cast of La que se avecina, which will continue during the season that is currently being filmed.

Ana Arias, known for playing Paquita in Cuéntame cómo pasó, is the main novelty in the series. The actress already had a role in El pueblo, also directed by Alberto Caballero, from which Raúl Peña also joined. For his part, José Luis Gil will continue without appearing in La que se avecina while he continues his recovery from the stroke he suffered in 2021, and joins the previous marches of Vanesa Romero or Cristina Medina, among others.
