After a few difficult days after the death of her father, Xisca Perelló has resumed her activity at the helm of the Rafa Nadal Foundation. The tennis player’s couple has participated as a speaker at an event organized by the organization in Madrid, accompanied by her mother-in-law, Ana María Parera.

This conference was the first public appearance of Mery Perelló after saying goodbye to her father, and also one of the few after her difficult pregnancy, which caused her to even have to be hospitalized weeks before the birth of little Rafael, the firstborn of the couple.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation is an organization funded primarily by the tennis player that works to help disadvantaged children and youth through the transformative power of sport and education.

Xisca Perelló has presented a new project of the foundation that aims to promote the practice of racket sport among young people with intellectual disabilities.

The people who participate in the program internalize attitudes and behaviors such as effort and perseverance, acquire healthy habits, and reinforce the feeling of belonging and their integration into society”, explained Perelló in the presentation, which was attended by the press.
