The third day of the 080 Barcelona Fashion has had its own name: Dominnico. At the entrance to the catwalk, the models came out between two phallic sculptures and moving images of sex toys were projected on the walls “it’s eroticism without being explicit”, he comments. The color palette of the 25 presented looks based on their iconic garments (miniskirts, tops, zippers, and belts) moves between red, black, white, pink, and orange. “I have been inspired by artistic currents such as Marcel Duchamp’s Dadaism; concept art by the Chapman brothers; in Anna Uddemberg, Anthony Redmile or the aesthetics of A Clockwork Orange, by Stanley Kubrick”

Domingo Fernández Lázaro, the real name of the Barcelona-based designer from Alicante, anticipates that he will soon be able to announce a collaboration with an international singer who is starting a world tour.

The traumas that cause nightmares inspired the second collection designed by Compte Spain. “I have reflected my nightmares, which is the loss of teeth, and I have tried to recreate my grandmother’s bedroom with crucifixes and angels and crochet bedspreads.” The result is dark dresses with pearls (teeth), crochet dresses, and padded collars.

David Méndez is the creator of Outsiders Division, a Catalan firm that has debuted at 080 after being awarded on the Madrid catwalk. “The DNA of my firm is clothing for adults who have not grown up and feel like children. And in Treasure Chest, which is the title of the collection, I continue to unite these two worlds with Dalmatian dresses, colored sweaters, coats with bears or painted dogs, crocheted details, lace and embroidered shirts, down jackets with stitched landscapes… “I think there are styles that, although they may not seem like it, work very well together.
