A driver has been seriously injured this morning when his car collided with a guardrail on the A3 in the Madrid neighborhood of Santa Eugenia, reports Madrid Emergencies.
The driver lost control of the car and, after hitting the guardrail, was ejected.
The accident took place at the Santa Eugenia junction to the A3 (Madrid-Valencia).
The Civil Protection Samur treated the injured man with a severe head injury and, after stabilizing him, transferred him and admitted him in serious condition to the Gregorio Marañón Hospital.
The Civil Guard has taken over the accident investigation.
