The few times I’ve been to a casino I’ve always opted to play red or black. It’s not that I’m a cautious person, it’s just that it’s hard for me to choose and it’s better to choose between two possibilities than between the 36 offered by roulette.

It happens to me with everything and I’m getting more and more lost. It all started with diapers, whether with wings or without wings; then, the milk, which is skimmed, semi-skimmed, whole, with calcium, with omega 3, even without lactose, and that’s cow’s milk, which was only missing because you ended up dizzy among the oat aisles at the supermarket, Soy, almond… And it goes to the yogurt area, where to find a normal and ordinary one you have to fight with packs of four, some even with cereals on the lid, of all the flavors you want you can imagine obtained with extracts or with pieces of something that was once a fruit. Seriously, I can’t with so much on offer, it makes me dizzy.

There are products that make your choice easier: for example, eggs. You buy the half dozen more expensive and period, although with organic food there is also a lot of silliness. God forbid I abjure the healthy life, but I can be suspicious of the commercial roll.

My latest dilemmas have to do with beauty creams (that’s what it’s called, right?). We would say that I understand that between the very cheap and the super expensive ones, it must be clear that the active principles are paid for and that there is a big difference between the first and the second: some delay aging by ten minutes, and the others by ten hours. But with so many serums, night cream, day cream, eye cream, for sensitive skin, anti-aging… I make a monumental mess and end up with a lifetime moisturizer.

I admit I don’t know how to shop. My poor mother would exclaim every time she came to my house, opened the fridge and saw the labels with the prices of products with which, according to her, I was being scammed. I don’t usually look at the prices, nor do I compare those of some establishments with those of others… that’s how it goes for me.
