The third day of 080 Barcelona Fashion had its own name: Dominnico. The designer who has dressed Rosalía, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa closed the catwalk yesterday with a massive parade in which he presented the Dildom collection with his proposals for next autumn. “It is an ode to freedom. The title refers to the dildo and my name – explains the designer minutes before the show. It’s a disruptive, diverse collection that advocates for sexual freedom.”

At the entrance to the catwalk, two phallic sculptures and projections of sex toys “is eroticism without being explicit”, he comments. The color palette of the 25 looks presented based on their iconic pieces (miniskirts, tops, zippers, and belts) moves between red, black, white, pink and orange. “I have been inspired by artistic currents such as Duchamp’s Dadaism; the conceptual art of the Chapman brothers; Anna Uddemberg, Anthony Redmile or the aesthetics of Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange.”

Domingo Fernández Lázaro, his real name, says that a collaboration with an international singer who is starting a tour will soon be announced.

Custo Barcelona, another designer of international reference, also paraded yesterday in the 080 after participating in fashion events in Chile and Los Angeles. Sun o’clock, his collection for this summer, is full of brilliance and a fusion of natural and technological materials. “I understand fashion as emotion and with my designs I seek to seduce women,” says the Catalan.
