Problems in sight for Tamara Falcó. Less than two months after her wedding, the Marquise de Griñón has been left without a wedding dress after having broken any relationship with the designers of Sophie et Voilà.

The newspaper El País has published an extensive statement in which the duo from the Bilbao brand have explained that “unfortunately, the agreement between Sophie et Voilà and Mrs. Falcó to make her wedding dress has had to be resolved as a consequence of the breach of contract by Mrs. Falcó”.

“Our business ethics prevent us from crossing certain limits that would jeopardize the original authorship of the design”, the designers have pointed out through a text distributed by the communication agency Llorente y Cuenca.

Sophie et Voilà wanted to defend her professionalism with this text. “We have a deep respect for the artistic creation of other colleagues and our business ethics prevent us from trespassing certain limits that would jeopardize the original authorship of the design,” reads the statement. In other words, the hired designers have not wanted to plagiarize any other firm as Íñigo Onieva’s fiancée allegedly requested.

The influencer has denied the magazine Hello! that she wanted to plagiarize a design and she has also assured that she has found out about the termination of the contracts through the media.

However, according to Vanitatis, it is not true that Falcó found out about the decision from the press, because for their part they reported that they did not want to go ahead with the dresses “two weeks ago”.

The brand is run by the dressmakers Sofía Arribas and Saioa Goiti, who until now have been in charge of shaping the wedding dress. The firm was born in Bilbao in 2010 and has become a renowned brand in the world of wedding dresses, dressing great faces on the current scene such as Isabel Preysler or Ana Boyer.
