Japan has always been a fascinating destination for travelers from around the world, and now there’s one more reason to put it on your bucket list: Nintendo World. This recently opened theme park is a dream come true for video game fans, offering total immersion into the universes of some of Nintendo’s favorite characters.

Alba Jiménez is one of the Spanish women who has traveled to Japan and is documenting everything she is doing. One of her visits with a friend was Nintendo World, where they were very impressed with the diversity of products they found to eat.

Among the culinary delights they had the pleasure of trying was a peculiar “spaghetti sandwich,” served on a green bun with an unusually hard exterior texture. Despite his strange appearance, Alba did not hesitate to express that he was “surprisingly good.”

The gastronomic adventure continued with a Toad soup, inspired by Nintendo’s beloved mushroom character. According to Alba, this soup has earned the title of “one of the best mushroom soups” he has had the pleasure of tasting.

Not everything on the menu was a resounding success; Alba’s friend opted for a children’s menu that included a Mario Bros-inspired burger that was a bit dry. However, the dessert, which they could not identify, turned out to be a pleasant surprise that they greatly enjoyed.

The two friends also wanted to try the park’s popcorn, which came with a curious figure from the Nintendo franchise. But they were left wanting, since they saw the prices and decided not to invest 30 euros for some simple popcorn.

To round out their culinary experience, they enjoyed a Hello Kitty-inspired cupcake, decorated with glitter and very flirty, which also captivated their palates. However, they found it inappropriate that it was stuffed with meat: “Sacrilege.”
