Although there are many options when choosing a mobile home for self-sufficient getaways, not all of them have to be associated with large outlays or huge vehicles. And it is that, within all the alternatives, the minicamper segment can offer remarkable possibilities in contained spaces and at reasonable prices.

One of these proposals is the so-called Apache, which comes from the specialists Swag Off-Road Campers. It must be taken into account that factors such as practicality and functionality are two of the strengths of this house on wheels, installed on a trailer that can be attached to almost any type of car.

It should be noted that this is a deployable minicamper in which the roof opens upwards from one of its sides, while the other side acts as an articulated support for the living area. Once open, a kind of tent is unfolded, generating a much larger living area than it may seem at first.

The first thing that draws attention inside is the large double bed that its occupants will enjoy. But that is not, far from it, the only thing that we will find inside. And it is that, in the front part there is also a living room, in addition to different storage spaces.

Apart from the aforementioned equipment, access and use of most of the Apache’s crew is done from the outside. This clearly shows that this minicamper is designed to enjoy life in the open air during getaways. For example, in the front of the vehicle there is a storage box with space for various drums and a generator.

When it is time to cook, you will have to go to one of the sides. From there emerge a hob with four burners, a sink and a fridge with freezer, among other elements, all of them installed on small sliding platforms that are hidden in the configuration designed to circulate. Two additional spaces should not be overlooked to be used as pantries.

The minicamper also includes a 170-litre fresh water tank, a gas-fired hot water system, two 100 Ah batteries and roof-mounted solar panels offering 300 W. All this equipment comes as standard. An audio playback system with Bluetooth, external speakers, a waterproof canopy and a Seaflo water pump are also integrated.

Everything reviewed is based on a robust chassis, a resistant suspension and tires designed for any type of terrain. The objective of this is none other than to achieve a small mobile home that is not daunted by demanding road surfaces.

The price of this proposal is around 20,000 euros. If you are interested in getting to know her better, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
