A 32-year-old woman was murdered in an aparthotel in Vitoria where she was with her baby, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl. The corpse showed signs of violence. The Ertzaintza was looking for his ex-partner, who, according to local information, was seen on Saturday afternoon around the hotel despite having a restraining order. The girl was taken to a hospital center for a full examination. The girl’s state of health is good, according to the Basque Government’s Department of Security.

Although the Ertzaintza did not want to confirm it, according to information from the newspaper El Correo, the woman, a native of Vitoria, was pregnant with twins about 14 weeks old.

According to this circular, when the agents entered the room they found the girl “full of blood”. He had spent nearly twelve hours next to his mother’s corpse, yesterday at noon.

The corpse of the young woman was located in an aparthotel of the Libere group located in the central Avenida Gasteiz in the Alabaster capital. Sources from the Libere group did not specify how long the murdered woman had lived there or if she lived alone, out of respect for the police investigation, but they did explain to the Efe agency that these apartments in Vitoria are short-stay destinations .

The main suspect is the ex-partner of the young woman, with whom she had previously suffered violent episodes. In fact, the young woman had an extreme protection order in Valencia (where she lived with her ex-partner), but after moving to the Basque Country a few days ago it had been downgraded due to the distance and because the young woman had “hidden” in the aparthotel. The Ertzaintza is looking for this man, now missing, who is the father of the baby and also of the twins the victim was expecting, according to El Correo.

This circular indicated that the alleged murderer is a resident of the Valencian Community and promotes himself on social networks as a successful businessman. A decade ago he also starred in a brief foray into the music world as a promoter.

This is not the only violent death this past weekend. On Saturday, the Civil Guard found the body of a 38-year-old pregnant woman and her three-year-old son in the Granada municipality of Las. The agents are investigating as homicide or murder the two violent deaths of the woman, a native of Torredelcampo (Jaén), and of her child, crimes for which no arrests had been made until yesterday evening, sources told Europa Press of the armed institute. The alarm was raised by a person around 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, who called the Balearic Islands 112 service and who identified himself as the victim’s partner to warn of a suspected robbery at the Granada home. According to Civil Guard sources, all hypotheses are open.
