Mediaset continues to try to restructure its entire television grid to adapt to the new television model that the new board of directors of the audiovisual group wants to implement. For this reason, the management leadership does not stop making changes to its grid. A few hours ago we heard the news that another house program was going to stop its broadcasts.
The program in question is Reaction in Chain, the contest presented by Ion Aramendi. The signing of the presenter by Mediaset was quite a bombshell for the chain, since the Basque presenter became known in the afternoons of Televisión Española.
His transfer to the Fuencarral chain was part of the board’s new strategy to occupy Telecinco’s afternoons, since it opted for the broadcast of two contests in a row in the schedule previously occupied by Sálvame. A change of grid with which they tried to attract the audience that they had lost after the absence and loss of Pasapalabra.
Even so, it seems that the Ion Aramendi contest has not finished working at all and Mediaset has decided to do without it. There has been a lot of information that has come out in the last few hours that assured that the recordings of the format are about to end and that after the summer the program would not have a hole on the grid either.
According to the Tvienes media, Mediaset has stopped the broadcast during the summer, since the chain has a new programming prepared, but they assured that it was not definitive.
With this information it is clear that Mediaset has wanted to pause the broadcasts of the contest, which has already been broadcast for more than 100 programs and 6 months. At the moment we have to wait to know the resolution of this situation.
And it is that as they have raised the future grid of Telecinco, the space of Aramendi would not have a hole. During the summer, the chain is preparing the new format with Sandra Barneda, Asà es la vida, after the completion of Sálvame and they are also already promoting their new daily series, MÃa es la venganza. In September things are not looking better, since with the series, the new program by Ana Rosa Quintana and the Christian Gálvez contest, Telecinco would have a complete evening programming.
