Sergio Rico, goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, continues to be admitted to the Virgen del RocÃo Hospital in Seville. The goalkeeper maintains his “situation of clinical stability within the severity of his injuries”, four days after being admitted last Sunday for the serious injuries he suffered from being kicked by a horse in the RomerÃa del RocÃo (Huelva) .
According to hospital sources, Rico is still admitted to the ICU of the Virgen del RocÃo University Hospital in Seville under the effects of sedation and with continuous monitoring, cared for in a multidisciplinary way by the Intensive Medicine team and other specialists from the same hospital.
However, there is good news: his brain hematoma is subsiding, and he may even wake up from a coma next week and his relatives are optimistic about the news regarding his health. This was commented on Thursday afternoon in Y ahora, Sonsoles, where they advanced that his representative confirmed that they were going to start removing his sedation.
News that would have filled his family with hope, especially his wife, Alba Silva, who has not left his side. On Thursday night, the journalist changed the tone of her messages on social networks, changing the sad dedications for a much more optimistic one and looking to the future: “The whole world awaits me with you”, accompanied by a video of the two, dancing.
Some images that have earned thousands of expressions of affection from her followers and friends, who have been supporting the journalist since this nightmare began. Good news to celebrate, especially since just a few hours before, Alba herself confessed to the media that “everything remains the same” and that at this moment the family “hold on to whatever” to move forward and think about positive.
The situation of the 29-year-old goalkeeper is complicated. After the horse fell in El RocÃo, Rico received several kicks to the head from the animal once on the ground, which left him unconscious. The goalkeeper received initial medical assistance from the Health Emergencies Center installed in the village, which transferred him by helicopter, in serious condition, to the Virgen del RocÃo Hospital, where he remains in the intensive care unit.
The journalist is showing her gratitude to all her followers and colleagues for all the support and expressions of affection received. This is how she did it a few days ago to the one she went to her club, Sevilla, the support shown during the Europa League final against Roma and pointed out: “I’m sure your forces will reach them.” The model shared on her Instagram profile a photo of the Sevillistas when they jumped into the Bucharest stadium where the final was played, which the Spanish team won, dressed in shirts that read: “Come on, Sergio, we’re with you.”
With this snapshot, Alba Silva has “wholeheartedly thanked her Sevilla FC” for the support she is receiving.
In addition, Silva also shared a photo in which the Sevillian goalkeeper can be seen with the same trophy that the Seville club won this Wednesday, specifically in 2016, when he was part of the squad that won it in the final against Liverpool.
