The Andalusian comedian Manu Sánchez surprised his followers a few days ago by revealing that he is suffering from testicular cancer that will make him disappear from the small screen for a few months.

The presenter went to the program La tarde, aquí y ahora, to speak with Juan y Medio and share with the Canal Sur audience the health problem he is going through: “We have celebrated many things together, we have lived, we have laughed, and we are going to continue doing it for a long time, but now it’s also time to stop a little ”.

Shortly after, in the same program, he addressed the viewers of the regional channel directly, from whom he receives a lot of love every day. “They are going to see that for a while I will not be able to look at Tierra de talento as I would like,” explained Sánchez after affirming that he had been diagnosed with cancer on April 19 and that he told it in the first person because it is a reality that affects many people and that must be made visible.

“I have things much stronger than fear and they are eating it with potatoes,” said the comedian after openly reflecting that there are moments when it is difficult not to get worse.

During these hard but exciting days, many people around her have dedicated some nice words to her. Her wife, Lorena Sánchez, has taken advantage of this delicate moment to openly declare that she is more in love with Sánchez than ever and that she will not let him live the disease alone.

The nutritionist from Cádiz has uploaded a story to her official Instagram profile sharing the text that the comedian published last Tuesday on the page of her production company, entitled Los límites del tumor. Accompanying the letter, the presenter’s wife dedicated a beautiful affectionate phrase to him: “Without a doubt, my luck is you and I won’t let go. More than ever, we are one.”
