A woman has been critically injured by the fire in the kitchen of her home in Esparreguera, for which she has been evacuated to the burn unit of the Vall d’Hebrón Hospital in Barcelona.
As reported by the Generalitat Fire Department, at 4:03 p.m. they received notice that there was a fire in a house on Avenida Francesc Macià de Esparreguera, for which they have sent six crews to the place.
The Firefighters have put out the fire, which has started for reasons that are being investigated, and have rescued a woman, who has been evacuated in critical condition to the Vall d’Hebron Hospital, as detailed by the Medical Emergency System (SEM).
In the house located in the town of Baix Llobregat there was no one else at the time of the fire, according to what the firefighters have verified.
