Mediaset has announced the recording of a new original format of the docu-reality type that will focus on the daily life of four businesswomen who are also couples of well-known soccer players. This program, entitled “WAGS: they also play”, as reported by 20minutos, will give an exclusive look at the daily life of these women, showing their business projects, how they balance their work and family life, as well as their hobbies and other aspects of their life.

The format has been recording for more than a month and among the protagonists are Paddy Noarbe, the partner of Marcos Llorente, an Atlético de Madrid player, who in addition to being an influencer is a successful businesswoman. Zoe Cristófoli, partner of Theo Hernández, AC Milan player, who works as a model, DJ, tattoo artist and businesswoman, will also participate. Another of the protagonists is Mina Bonino, Fede Valderde’s partner from Real Madrid, who in addition to being a sports journalist, is also a businesswoman.

Alba Silva, wife of Sergio Rico, a PSG player, was the fourth protagonist but unfortunately she had to suspend her participation in the program due to the recent accident suffered by her husband in El Rocío. Sergio Rico received multiple kicks to the head from a runaway horse, the day after winning the French league, which has led him to be in serious condition, admitted into an induced coma, in the ICU of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville.

“WAGS: they also play” promises to offer a close and real vision of the lives of these women, highlighting their business achievements and their role in the world of sport. The program aims to be a television phenomenon that will captivate viewers with stories of success, love and overcoming in the world of WAGs (for the acronym in English of wifes and girlfriends, wives and girlfriends).
