From young people to retirees, everyone has their problems. Those who remain in the middle are already looking to retirement in many cases. The big question is: how much am I going to charge? There is a formula that allows a good calculation. Secured money that you will then have to know how to manage, avoiding getting into trouble when investing so as not to end up losing everything…

Pensioners. As much as possible, there should be no surprises. Knowing what the pension will be is a key element to planning this new era. The replacement rate, which compares your salary with the future benefit, provides good clues about what will be paid. This is how it is calculated and it is in Spain. Then there may be surprises in the collection, some positive: retirees with mutual societies are getting thousands of euros back in this year’s income. They can also draw on the benefits for being over 65 years old that exist in the income tax return. All for savings.

Wealth grows. The years of pandemic have boosted the wealth of families, from the wealthiest to the most humble. Of course, there are ages that benefit more than others: the average income reaches its maximum between 55 and 64 years old, and then falls. Among young people, housing, the basic asset of wealth in Spain, is increasingly less common and today only 32% own it under the age of 35. Squeezed by debt, for others things are even more complicated. The avalanche of private bankruptcy proceedings is leading to the collapse of the commercial courts, those in charge of resolving them.

Stock market fury. Meme stocks are back. Cyber ??investors coordinate and go after company securities with no apparent value to shoot them up and get rich along the way. The idea is to punish the bearish funds, but you can take the hit. Increases of up to 100% can be tempting, but investing “is very risky, like going to the casino,” warns expert Joan Torras. These dazzling rises have been followed by sharp falls that trap the unwary. Better to let yourself be guided by someone who dominates, like Warren Buffett. This week his new billion-dollar investment was made public after months of mystery.

Summer without messes. Let’s think about something less hectic. The beach, the sun, summer vacations… If you already count the days, you don’t want anything to be complicated when traveling, such as staying on land if you have to travel. For that fear there is a solution: these are the clues to know if your flight will be overbooked. The problems may already be at the destination. The rise of tourism in Spain is fueling growing social rejection. For example, a few are covering themselves with gold in the Canary Islands, the focus of protests, while things seem to have reached their limit in the Balearic Islands.

The housing market is at an impasse. There is a desire to buy, with a lot of demand, but the supply makes it difficult to find the ideal home. The lack of promoters is being another key factor. It also has an impact that they are smaller: less muscle leaves us with fewer new homes.

Where there is always movement is in the business landscape. “My startup will change the world,” says Álvaro Pintado. At 19 years old he created hello.app, a company with which he intends to end the monopoly of big technology companies. What does it consist of? (Podcast).
