Five dresses for a bride could be the title of a romantic comedy, but it corresponds to the number of dresses that the American Anne-Marie Colling wore for her wedding to Dani Clará, the only child of Rosa Clará. Of course, the designer signed the looks of the bride, hers, that of the bridesmaids and that of numerous guests who attended the link, held this weekend in Paris.

Those in charge of wedding firms agree that today’s women have a very clear idea of the type of dress they want for their wedding, although during the various tests they are assailed by doubts about the choice for this special day. Anne-Marie Colling became the best model of the Rosa Clará firm on Saturday to reflect and project the image of her ideal bride: modern, sophisticated and elegant.

The wedding was held on Saturday, but on Friday there was a cruise on the river Seine as a welcome party for the guests. Anne-Marie wore a short pearl gown with microbeading and silver threads, finished with crystal fringe, that evoked 1920s glamour. Rosa Clará, accompanied by her husband, Josep Artigas, wore a set of silk crepe trousers and blouse in Klein blue.

The neo-Gothic basilica of Santa Clotilde hosted the religious ceremony. Anne Marie entered on the arm of her father, William Colling. She wore a jeweled dress, made in French chantilly hand embroidered with micro rhinestones, flowers and crystal, pencil silhouette and halter neckline. It was complemented by an overskirt with a large volume and three meters of tail and a smooth veil of natural silk four meters long. “The most important commission of my career, without a doubt, has been designing my daughter-in-law’s dress”, explained Rosa Clará. The designer entered the church with her son Dani. She wore a long silk crepe design in magenta with Corina Roselló embroideries using colorful bohemian gemstones and crystals.

The bride’s entrance into the church was preceded by that of six bridesmaids, dressed by Clará in trendy looks with cut-outs and draped in dusty pink silk muslin.

The reception afterwards was held at the Rodin museum. For the photos, the bride removed the overskirt of her dress and her veil. But for dinner, served by Alain Ducasse, with 21 Michelin stars, it was changed to a classic silhouette design with a plunging neckline and tulip skirt. Made in a silk duchess double hem, and hand painted in oil, with the spatula technique by an artist from Northern Italy with an exclusive flower design and a tulle wateau with the same design as the dress .

After the newlyweds’ first dance, the party moved to Maxim’s, and Anne-Marie Colling wore a new haute couture dress inspired by nineties minimalism. Scoop neckline and slightly sheer, made in French chantilly with silk threads and micro rhinestones and inner corset. And already in the evening, the bride wore a two-piece ensemble that was completely on trend, consisting of an embroidered lace bandeau top and pants with clean lines.

Among the guests: Boris Izaguirre, Carles Sans and a wide representation of Catalan society. Particularly noteworthy was the presence of Paloma Cuevas, wearing a dress from the 2024 party collection that she designs for Rosa Clará. She went there with her eldest daughter, and she also attended the party with the singer Luis Miguel, her partner.
