The City Council of Badalona (Barcelonès Nord) in agreement with the Sant Joan de Llefià-Gran Sol Neighborhood Association, has rescheduled the scheduled dates for the musical performances of Mojinos Escozíos and Camela at the Gran Sol Music Festival. The performances, initially scheduled for June 16 and 17, are being moved to July because the City Council has not completed the necessary infrastructure procurement in time.

Thus, the Mojinos Escozíos concert has been scheduled for Saturday, July 29, and Camela for Sunday, July 30. The future mayor, Xavier García Albiol, believes that “it is a scandal” that activities have to be delayed due to a lack of administrative speed.

Both free concerts, postponed due to difficulties that arose during the administrative processing of the production necessary for the performances, will take place in the amphitheater of Parque del Gran Sol once only. Apart from the date change of these two concerts, the Popular Festivals of the Sant Joan de Llefià-Gran Sol neighborhood maintain their planned activities between Sunday June 18 and Saturday June 24.

The future mayor and PP candidate, Xavier García Albiol, assured on social networks that “it seems to me a scandal” that the concerts that had to be held in mid-July in Llefià, as confirmed by the president of the Neighborhood Association , are postponed because the “City Hall has not processed the necessary infrastructures”, such as lighting and stages.
