Carmen Borrego has made her debut as a grandmother in recent days amid controversy. Several months ago since she came to the fore that the relationship that the collaborator maintains with her son, José MarÃa Almoguera, father of the little newborn, is not the best. For this reason, the birth of her grandson has once again been punctuated by this family wound.
Although the television has tried to calm the waters, the truth is that she also had to find out that the baby was about to be born through the Fiesta program. In the same way, Borrego has preferred not to go to the hospital to meet him while she followed the events from her house and on the set of Sálvame, where she went for the first time this Tuesday.
The bad relationship of mother and son is not new. It all began at the end of last year when the program of which Carmen is a regular collaborator, Sálvame, broadcast some audios recorded by her daughter-in-law and mother of the newborn, Paola Olmedo. In them, the unfavorable opinion of Almoguera’s wife about her mother-in-law was made known, something that deeply affected Carmen Borrego and led her to distance herself from her and from her own son.
Already at that moment, Borrego reacted to what happened by bursting into tears on the set of the same space. Even so, he appealed that everything would be resolved sooner rather than later, something to which is added that at that time Carmen was already aware that the couple was expecting her firstborn.
However, these problems with Almoguera and his wife are not the only ones that plague Carmen Borrego. To them is added the delicate state of health of her mother, the well-known presenter MarÃa Teresa Campos, of which very few details are known at the express wish of the television station.
All these reasons generated a breeding ground that led the collaborator to undergo a live coaching session with Cristina Soria, coinciding with Mother’s Day and at a time when she is still very far from her son. Of course, everything indicates that the birth of Borrego’s grandson would be accelerating the reconciliation process, as television has shown in recent days.
